Writing this blog for the past year has certainly been a unique and enjoyable experience. Barring the unplanned spring break (sorry about that!), I feel that I was able to consistently write posts that were insightful and entertaining. I also believe that as time went on, my posts progressively came to be of a higher quality. I was very happy with the last few posts that I put out from a quality perspective.

However, this quality requires work. Multiple hours per week is a pretty regular amount to spend creating one of my blog posts. This has been a welcome addition to my schedule over the past year, but in a week or so, I’m not sure that I will have the time or the bandwidth to continue writing in the way I have been. For those that are unaware, I will be starting my first year of college at Michigan State University. It has been a long time coming and it is an experience that I am beyond excited for, but I know that I will be quite busy. Between classes and coursework, playing hockey, working in a research lab, and continuing to work as a student photographer for MSU athletics, I don’t foresee having the time to dedicate to this blog. I don’t want to put out posts for the sake of it; I want my posts to be high quality pieces that I can be proud of.

With all this being said, I’ll be taking a break from writing these blog posts. I may make a sporadic post when I have the time or inspiration to do so, but there won’t be anything consistently put out in the foreseeable future. I hope that someday I can continue writing, but this is, unfortunately, goodbye for now. I want to thank every one of my readers for continuing to support me on this journey. Your kind words and insights were the most rewarding thing to come from this! These posts will also all be staying on my website, so feel free to reference them as often as you would like. I hope to talk to you again someday. In the meantime, I encourage you to go on your own photographic adventures! Happy shooting!

Finally, if you feel compelled to support me, look into ordering a print from my Smugmug site! They make great decor (I have many of them in my own house)
